Reuters Digital Journalism Course, produced in partnership with the Meta Journalism Project, launches in Brazil

Reuters announced today the launch of the Reuters Digital Journalism Course in Brazil. Produced in partnership with the Meta Journalism Project, the course provides free online training for journalists to improve their digital newsgathering, verification and publishing skills, as well as access to wellness and resilience resources.

The Reuters Digital Journalism Course will now be available in Brazilian Portuguese, allowing new and seasoned journalists in Brazil to benefit from compelling learning materials and hands-on tutorials across four modules: Digital Newsgathering; Verification and Reporting; Publishing Effectively on Social Media and Wellness and Resilience.

“The digital age has brought about new and exciting ways of reporting, but with it challenges to delivering accurate, impartial news,” said Simon Robinson, Reuters Global Managing Editor for News Publishing. “We’re thrilled to bring the Reuters Digital Journalism Course to Brazil to offer best practices and critical skills to help further the careers of journalists in the country.”

First launched in 2021, the Reuters Digital Journalism Course is now available in 19 languages and has seen more than 177,000 journalists register for the course to date – reaching participants in 70 countries.

Curso de Jornalismo Digital da Reuters, em parceria com o Meta Journalism Project, é lançado no Brasil

A Reuters anunciou hoje o lançamento do curso de Jornalismo Digital da Reuters no Brasil. Produzido em parceria com o Meta Journalism Project, o curso oferece treinamento on-line gratuito e certificação para jornalistas aprimorarem suas habilidades de apuração, verificação e publicação de notícias digitais, além de acesso a recursos de bem-estar e resiliência.

O curso de Jornalismo Digital da Reuters agora estará disponível em português e permite que jornalistas brasileiros, iniciantes e experientes, se beneficiem de materiais didáticos e práticos divididos em quatro módulos: Apuração de notícias digitais; Verificação e reportagem; Publicação efetiva em mídias sociais; Bem-estar e resiliência. Ao concluir o treinamento, os jornalistas também recebem uma certificação da Reuters.
